TOP 5 DESIGN COMPONENTS THAT ARE SIGNIFICANT:

Design Inspiration — When updating our own space in the Merchandise Mart, we wanted to feature something truly fitting for our first-floor boutique; part of the Luxe Home family. Steve Karp, Senior Bentwood Kitchen Designer envisioned something new, striking, and handsome when creating the showroom front window display. Mission Accomplished– great comments shared every week by designers and guests on our newly remodeled space ?

Floor Plan Challenges — Designing for a small space that packs a punch and complements existing display wall. Carefully selected custom cabinetry, accessories, and components work together to tell our brand story for today’s projects.

Beautiful Materials & Finishes — New material–Quartered Figured Mustardwood Veneer was selected for a custom cabinetry feature adding a dramatic look with vertical movement—perfect for Mid-Century Modern style projects. The rift white oak framing matches the existing wall display which features one of our most popular door styles with integrated hardware. Our new island is in natural walnut showcasing another popular integrated door style. The real beauty is the countertop material—natural granite in a satin finish that has a matte and leathered interest looking very updated with superior performance qualities.

Modern Function Components — We featured The Galley work station tm and included custom cabinetry storage for all the Galley accessories in our new island. The Galley tap tm/faucet was selected in new Gun metal finish for beauty and function! For something really fun, we installed the Irinox Freddy tm Residential Blast Chiller on our new feature wall for those looking to preserve food quality and freshness!

Favorite Design Element — The labor of love is our Custom Herringbone Shagreen Backsplash constructed of stingray artisan tiles, antique brass trim, and polished nickel inner frame. The walnut floating shelves and larger frame work nicely with the mustard wood cabinetry and exude pure luxury!
