At Bentwood Luxury Kitchens, we are very excited to share a special Dealer project as well as highlight exceptional people in the business.

Sometimes a design stands out so well that everyone who sees it immediately stops and has to comment. That was certainly the case when Brenda Helms and Megan Greve of Edmond Kitchen Bath Home submitted their design for the 2025 Kitchen Contest—Harmoni Out of the Kitchen project category. The design not only won the category but also the coveted Bill Algier Award.

Let’s take a closer look at this stunning Primary Ensuite project.

Modern and Spacious

When tasked with planning the entire renovation and designing details for a bathroom and closet, plus a larger closet extension, Brenda and Megan, imagined all the possibilities of an expansive wet room with large floating vanities for both husband and wife.

The decision to create a curbless entry for the shower dictated the location of the linear drain to the left of the door, out of sight. This design choice also afforded an uninterrupted view of the stunning tub and bookmatched marble wall.

The Kohler Anthem and Statement Collection fixtures were used in the shower and a free standing faucet was installed for the tub.

The matching his and her floating vanities face each other with space for seating between.

Harmoni product with a Thermo Laminate was used throughout the space for its ease of cleaning and beautiful grain pattern. Dramatic underlighting complements the circular lighted mirrors and sconces.

Kohler Purist wall-mounted faucets were selected as another luxury detail and to facilitate the ease of cleaning on countertops.

The vanities are flanked on the sides by Harmoni’s tall wire basket pull-outs.

Not Your Traditional Water Closet

The new floor plan created a larger-than-typical amount of space in the water closet. Creating a unique space, the designers avoided the classic cabinet over the toilet by placing the toilet near the door and utilized the side wall for storage, making a feature of it when the door is open!
