Make Some Space
Creating an open floor plan was essential for the Houston kitchen design vision. Combining the kitchen and breakfast area allowed for removing the old closed-in kitchen and bringing in the natural light. Adjusting the ceiling height opened the space even more with additional volume.
Smart Design for Today’s Social Kitchen
Everyone ends up in the kitchen for good reason! And this kitchen island is just the place to be with the Professional Zline Range being the star. Seating on the opposite side of the kitchen island makes for a social kitchen that allows for easy gatherings and encourages active participation!
The kitchen perimeter is all about function and is well-equipped with luxury appliances including: Subzero refrigerator, Zline speed oven and microwave and Bosch dishwasher. All excellent selections that will stand the test of time.
More Function for Home Chefs
One accessory that was a huge hit, was the adjustable height mixer stand on the end of the kitchen island. Perfect for baking with kids and sharing the kitchen experience.
The chef’s pull-out accessories on both sides of the range allow for spice, oil and vinegar storage right where you need it. Keeping the island top free of clutter is always a goal.

Convenient roll-out drawers provide cookware storage and double vertical storage for baking sheets and wood boards are organized and easy to see.
Updated Material Selections that Brought the Wow
Harmoni door style “Elegante” was selected for the minimal frame detail and updated style.
A combination of walnut with natural stain and Naval paint selections were complementary and offered a fresh point of view.
We also like the updated style of the modern quartz stone “Statuario Pristine” on the entire perimeter wall. Utilizing the same material for the countertops, made for a dynamic statement.
