Every February, the kitchen and bath industry gathers for KBIS, the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. This year, Bentwood Luxury Kitchens returned for its seventh consecutive partnership with Monogram. Together, they delivered one of the most talked-about booths on the show floor.

Monogram’s Creative Director Richard Anuszkiewicz led the design vision for his concept, “The Iconic Kitchen.” Velvet ropes and energetic music beckoned visitors to the booth’s exclusive, VIP atmosphere.

In the Fall of 2025, Richard visited the Bentwood factory for the first time and worked with the factory team to further his “Iconic Kitchen” vision.  New door styles, finishes, and details were created, adding to the elegant composition.

A Kitchen Concept Built Around Connection

Richard’s challenge: create a space with a thoughtful layout, paired with high functionality, while programmed for gatherings, both small and large.

A large central island is paramount to the “Iconic Kitchen,” with its expansive, uninterrupted work surface perfect for food prep, conversations, and family-style serving.

Monogram’s new Titanium decorative hood was centered between expansive windows, two 30-inch Monogram ranges divided a generous countertop space, and the entire view was framed by two of Monogram’s 96-inch-tall Titanium Refrigeration columns, resulting in a captivating Range wall elevation.

Textured beams with thoughtfully placed oversized chandeliers were selected instead of centrally located decorative island pendants for a fresher, unexpected look.

Grothouse Lumber translated Richard’s sketch into reality with this unique cantilevered furniture piece.  The trestle table with matching wood top is anchored to a solid Dekton element from Cosentino.  This block of material was crafted from 2cm material and contains several operable wood drawers from Bentwood and a Monogram microwave drawer.

Three vendors, using three different materials, working in three separate facilities simultaneously, with their parts coming together perfectly, that’s expert craftsmanship.  The finished result: a beautiful element anchoring the “Iconic Kitchen.”

New Doors and Finishes Worth Watching

Richard’s factory visit directly inspired a new Bentwood prototype door revealed at KBIS 2026.  A minimal raised panel door showcases a continuous grain from the bottom rail, through the panel, to the upper rail, and continuing through the slab drawer front.

This same prototype door introduced a new integrated finger pull with applied molding detail.  Integrated pulls are all the rage!  Closer inspection of the carefully mitered beaded molding draws attention to the high level of precision and craftsmanship.

Bentwood also debuted one of its new colors, Loden Brown.  The high-gloss version of this color appeared in the Scullery section of the Monogram Booth.  Harmoni cabinetry added this beautiful color to their standard offering in a standard sheen.

Interior Innovation That Changes Daily Life

The “Iconic Kitchen” would not be complete without thoughtful interior accessories.  Richard offered Bentwood the opportunity to showcase a few prototype pull-outs, supporting the expansive cabinet storage and counter space left and right of Monogram’s two 30-inch ranges.  Bentwood was happy to again provide Richard’s “Signature Red” drawer box that always gets comments and smiles.

A deep pullout handles sheet pans, drying racks, cutting boards, loaf and broiler pans when overhead storage is not close by. These adjustable dividers are scooped to allow easier access to varying heights of stored items.

A cast iron pullout scales up the traditional slide-out drawer for heavy Dutch ovens, reducing the lift height significantly. Lids store neatly in the upper drawer.

One of the most well-received interior features was Bentwood’s integrated wood drawer self-contained LED lighting.  This factory-installed system with rechargeable battery pack requires no on-site prep or support.  Finally, drawer illumination made easy!

Monogram Appliances That Anchor the Vision

A Kitchen Behind the Kitchen

The KBIS 2025 Monogram Scullery

Scullery space is often where most of the heavy lifting, prep, and main kitchen support takes place. Anuszkiewicz’s Scullery did not disappoint.  Essentially, a fully functioning, ultra-efficient kitchen with 5-in-1 oven, a second full-size oven, 36-inch induction range, professional hood, and full-sized dishwasher made the space both remarkable and capable.

Full-height doors unified the cabinetry throughout.  A hammered nickel sink added artisan texture. Meanwhile, an integrated pull-out trash kept the workspace clean and functional.

Craftsmanship Wins Every Time

KBIS 2026 was a wonderful success. Bentwood is grateful to have played a part in showcasing Monogram’s incredible suite of genuinely innovative appliances. New features, intricate details, and love of true craftsmanship proved that intentional design always outperforms spectacle. Seven years of partnership produced something truly worth seeing.
