Stardust Ranch sits among the oak trees of Fayetteville, Texas. The 25-acre property serves as an immersive ranch retreat for design-forward stays and creative events.
Jessica Love led the creative vision as both property owner and principal designer at Urbane Design. Bentwood of Austin brought the cabinetry expertise needed to build it.
That collaboration outfitted Bowie House, the largest residence on the property. Every material choice needed to support comfort, ease, and craftsmanship together.
Executing that vision required a cabinetry partner comfortable with color, texture, and scale. Bentwood Luxury Kitchens crafted each element to support Love’s transitional vision throughout the home.
A Kitchen Built for Gathering
The kitchen anchors the home in warmth and rich color. Perimeter base cabinetry uses the Elegante door style in a deep Carnelian paint finish. The Carnelian tone seems to deepen as the day goes on.
The island tells its own layered story. Its front panels repeat Elegante in a warm Antique Bronze tone. The island’s back side shifts to the Lina profile in the same finish for cohesiveness. That tactile shift adds quiet dimension and visual interest to a room where guests move around constantly.
Monogram appliances built into a cabinet wall include a hearth oven, 5-in-1 oven, wine refrigerator, and refrigerator.
A Galley workstation handles everything from prep, serving, and cleanup. Its single stainless-steel bowl keeps the layout efficient and uncluttered.
The Galley Ideal Tap completes the station in Burnished Gold. Hand polished and PVD coated, it brings a durable glow built to last.
Living Room Cabinetry with Character
Just beyond the kitchen, custom built-ins ground the living room. Family media cabinetry uses the Eire door style in solid Alder.
Antique Bronze finish ties the cabinetry back to the kitchen’s warmer tones. That repetition threads one continuous material story through the home.
There’s also a hidden closet door and lift-up TV that are both concealed by the custom millwork that blends with the living room cabinetry.
A Guest Bath Full of Personality
The guest bathroom takes color-drenching to its most playful extreme. Bold geometric Kelly Wearstler wallpaper wraps the walls in warm terracotta and rose tones.
Sink vanity cabinetry uses the Elegante door style once again. The Antique Bronze finish keeps the room connected to the home’s broader palette. A sculptural brass mirror curves above the marble vanity top. Its organic shape softens all that geometry surrounding it.
Patterned tiles underfoot add one more layer of pattern and texture. Nothing here feels accidental. Every layer here was chosen to feel immersive, not incidental. Pattern, texture, and comfort all work together to elevate the guest experience.
An En Suite Built for Ease
The en suite bathroom shifts toward a calmer, more grounded palette. Sink vanity cabinetry uses the Eire door style in a Goldenrod finish Walnut wood.
Veined marble covers the walls, floors, and walk-in shower alike. That continuous material creates a spa-like sense of calm.
A tall linen cabinet anchors the far wall. It keeps towels and robes close at hand without disrupting the calm.
This bath was designed to reward real use, not just admiring glances. Craftsmanship, performance, and comfort all had to work together here. Every texture in this room seems to ask the body to slow down. Even the light here feels softer than in the rest of the home.
Every surface here supports quiet, unhurried mornings. That was always the point of calling this home a retreat.
A Primary Bath That Commands the Room
The primary bathroom takes the boldest swing in the home. Deep Cordovan walls and ceiling wrap the space in rich, wine-toned color.
Candlelight flickers warmly against those deep walls most evenings. A sculptural glass chandelier above the tub scatters soft, fractured light. Love designed this room as a place to slow all the way down.
The freestanding tub is a BainUltra model with therapeutic, micro-jetted massage. A two-person Thermasol steam shower turns the room into a private spa.
Sink vanity cabinetry continues the Eire door style from the en suite. Here, though, it wears that same Cordovan finish for full immersion.
Marble stays cool underfoot, even as the room feels enveloping. That contrast between warmth and cool grounds the entire experience. Brass fixtures and warm stone countertops keep the palette from feeling heavy. Confidence and comfort share the same space here.
This room proves color-drenching can feel serene rather than dramatic. It closes out the home’s story on its boldest note.
