At Bentwood Luxury Kitchens, we are very excited to share a special dealer project, as well as highlight some exceptional people in the business. Since becoming a dealer over 15 years ago, Mary Ann and Terry Elston— owners of The Cottage in Shreveport, Louisiana— have always had a wonderful relationship with Bentwood. It has been very gratifying to watch the growth and continued success of such a highly respected dealer team. Worth the Wait – A Mountain Contemporary Forever Home
At Bentwood Luxury Kitchens, we are very excited to share a special Dealer project, as well as highlight true professionals in the kitchen business. One of our newest dealers is Al Rosenthal of Alpine Kitchen Design located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We originally met Al at our KBIS booth when exhibiting at the Orlando and Las Vegas trade shows-- “This booth really got my attention,” Al shared. “A high-quality product with full range of door styles and finishes was something I was looking for.” So, when the time was right, Bentwood Owner Kevin Bryant was pleased to set Al up as a new dealer and welcome him into the Bentwood family. But a special treat was working with Al on his personal mountain contemporary kitchen.
Selecting Natural Stone for Your Kitchen and Bath Projects
Natural stone is a beautiful choice for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, and backsplashes. Stone slabs showcase Mother Nature’s artistry, as every rock quarried from the earth has its unique color, veining, and pattern. Plus, natural stone has manageable maintenance, exceptional durability and is the gold standard in a luxury kitchen or bath. At Bentwood Luxury Kitchens, we want to share our experience designing with natural stone, as this is an important component of a project, which includes overall aesthetic and cost.

What to Consider When Selecting Hardware for Custom Made Cabinets
Decorative Hardware for custom made cabinets has a big impact on the total appearance of a room, and speaks to the overall design and aesthetic. This is an opportunity to ‘go bold' and let the hardware become a star component, or ‘blend in’ and complement the overall design. Most importantly hardware must function well for the homeowner and their lifestyle—from a busy family kitchen to a downtown city loft. We say it should feel comfortable in your hand and easily open your cabinetry and appliances. So, as you are defining your preferences for custom cabinetry, the same should be done for decorative hardware. This component is part of your budget and most likely will take some time to fulfill the order. At Bentwood, we are here to make some suggestions from excellent industry resources.
A Modern Farmhouse with a Historic Past
At Bentwood Luxury Kitchens, we are very excited to share a special Dealer project as well as highlight exceptional people in the business. Since becoming a dealer in 2001, Joy and Jerry Wilkins of Custom Kitchens from Oakland, California have always had a wonderful relationship with Bentwood. Joy says it best here: “Bentwood and Harmoni are our number one cabinet supplier because we’ve built a great relationship and have complete trust in their product and service”. And this is what it's all about for us here at Bentwood. Owner Randy Pittard takes great pride in relationships like these. We feel the same joy and mutual respect when working with the successful industry professionals who embrace our products and execute beautiful projects year after year. See how we collaborated on this stunning modern farmhouse.

Hunkering Down at Home – Cook from Your Pantry and Feel Good!
This time, we're excited to have Stephanie Karp with Ingrid Baltasi, both from Bentwood of Chicago share their knowledge of cooking and experience in making great home-cooked meals. Let's dig in: Like many of you now, I am working from home today and for the foreseeable future. And since we have gained a couple of extra hours by not commuting, how could we spend that time? For me, the answer is always cooking. It’s my happy time. Making a homemade meal is very satisfying, and right now, this is something positive I can offer up. Best of all, pantry items are a great go-to for the home cook to get dinner on the table with ease!
So, whether you did a big shop to fill the pantry or have a plan to shop by need, there are some wonderful staples that most of us have in the pantry, freezer, or fridge. Soups, stews, and pasta dishes are the ultimate comfort food, and although Spring is on the way, there is still a little chill in the air. Here are a few of our favorites we would like to share with you!
